Hi there, we are David and Emilie Boitano.  As 50 plus year natives of San Francisco, my wife and I offer an informal, yet intimate, personal private tour of our home town ---San Francisco!!

I was born and have lived in San Francisco since 1946 and know the town, sites, food, music, clubs, history and traditions, like the back of my hand.  I know you will be very happy to tell all your friends about your experience with San Francisco Tours Your Way!

We have shown San Francisco and the surrounding greater Bay Area to many over the years and always get calls and emails for our advice on just about everything in San Francisco.  

You’re on vacation or taking a business break, so relax; let us do the driving, make suggestions and guarantee you will not only have a great time, but you will remember this experience the rest of your life. 

We are not one of those big time tour operators who stuff you into a van or bus and rush you around in three hours to get onto the next tour.  We are a low key and friendly couple who have been together for over forty years; enjoy the company of other people and the San Francisco Bay Area life style.  We will help you pick an itinerary that allows you to see traditional sites and the hidden treasures of the city by the bay.

Emilie loves taking photos and videos so you will have a free photographic record of your visit to enjoy for years to come.  She will post them on line and send you a link so you and your friends can enjoy them at your leisure, download them or print them out for free.  The photo web hosting company also offers other options for a fee such as t-shirts, mugs, key chains, photo albums ETC.

Transportation is provided in our 1981 classic 380 SEL four door Mercedes Benz.  Since you will be sitting in the back seat we are limited to two adults per tour per day. 

The beloved city takes up just 46 square miles. You could fit 10 of it into Los Angeles, three into Portland.

 

It's also the second most densely populated major city in the country, after New York, and its 800,000 plus inhabitants thrive on proximity—to one another's ideas, to the world's wealth of dinning, to museums for art, science, history, and cartoons, live theatre, live music... and to hills overlooking saltwater, fog, bridges, islands, and other towns. Here's a sliver of its everyday delights.

The Legion of Honor, with its classic view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Baker Beach, Architecture and views in the Presidio, Fort Point, Biking on Angel Island, Crissy Field, Exploratorium and the Palace of Fine Arts dome, Posh pies at Pizzeria Delfina, The hats of Beach Blanket Babylon, Chinatown, Ferry Plaza Saturday farmers' market, AT&T Park and McCovey Cove, The Flower Mart and its old-style cafe, Cartoon Art Museum, Banh mi sandwiches in the Tenderloin's Little Saigon, Great American Music Hall, Slims Rock and Blues Club, The Fillmore Auditorium, The San Francisco Opera, Broadway Theatre, Miette sweet shops, Flax Art & Design, Rainbow Grocery—even just the cheese section, Alternative films at the Roxie Theater, People-watching at Tartine Bakery, Mitchell's Ice Cream, Bernal Heights for dining at Moki's and drinking at Wild Side West, Fort Funston, with its playful dogs, The San Francisco Zoo, with its playful grizzlies + Cocktails at the Cliff House and milk shakes at Louis', Green Apple Books, Golden Gate Park and the California Academy of Sciences, Amoeba Music, Castro District and Theatre, Seward Street slides and the fog rolling through the Golden Gate.

 

Depending on your selection, some light walking may be required and is recommended to get the full San Francisco streets experience.  Dress in layers and casual.

Our fee is $300 per couple for the day which covers 6 hours.  Included is complimentary water and Emilie’s photo service.  We can extend your tour for an additional fee of $50 per hour starting with the seventh hour until you want to stop.  Food and venue entrance fees are your responsibility.

A deposit of $100 by Visa, Master or Discovery Card at time of reservation is required, and the balance on completion of the tour by cash, VISA, Master or Discovery card.  Cancellation policy is: full refund with 7 days notice, 50% refund with three days notice and no refund within forty-eight hours of the tour.
