MLS represents the top tier in soccer in Northern America. It has been commissioned by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA). This was done in 1994. The current season is underway!

The 2007 MLS season is currently underway with the New York Red Bulls in fine form with their recent signing, noted striker Juan Pablo Angel firing away. However, the current out of form LA Galaxy is expected to give some competition in the western conference upon arrival of Beckham in July. 2007 also saw the inclusion of the first Canadian soccer team, Toronto FC, who sold out their entire lot of seasons tickets on the first day itself.
